The payer needs to send digital dollars
conta.vc doesn’t provide a US bank account, an IBAN, or ACH details. It receives compatible digital assets at the addresses shown in the app. This works well when the client, platform, or company can already pay from a wallet.
If the payer can only make a traditional international bank transfer, you’ll need another service to receive that transfer. Making this distinction avoids promising a capability the product doesn’t offer.
You receive value you can use in reais
The digital dollar doesn’t sit idle as a second balance. When it comes in, it’s converted into your conta’s balance in reais. This design reduces the number of currencies and screens a person has to manage day to day.
Check the exchange rate and the net amount in the app before confirming any transaction. Dollar transactions carry the product fee shown on screen; conta.vc doesn’t charge for Pix transfers.

A simple flow for international work
For freelancers and service providers, the flow can replace the combination of a wallet, an exchange, and a separate account used only to convert the payment. The client sends to the address provided; the professional tracks its arrival in the app and uses the balance in reais.
conta.vc takes care of moving the money, not tax obligations or issuing tax invoices. Service providers remain responsible for documenting their income and following the rules that apply to their own case.
Network and address must match
Digital asset addresses don’t work like a universal Pix key. The network the sender chooses must be the same one shown in the app. Always copy the current instructions, and make a small first transfer when the payer or the process is new.
conta.vc can’t undo a transfer confirmed on a public network. The same property that makes transfers verifiable also makes it essential to be careful with the destination.
